Unlock the power of drones for your entire project team.
Never miss an update: Assess the state of a construction site down to the finest details.
Share the power of drone – All Evercam users can now access and interact with the 3D reconstruction.
Compare progress: Easily switch between the 3D model and the camera view to cross-check the site’s current condition vs plan.
Understand external factors: Access a detailed representation of the construction site and surrounding area.
Access all Evercam features through live camera view.
Evercam provides a visual timeline.
Switch between fixed position cameras, drone mapping, and 360 images and compare them with a 4D BIM plan all from one central location.
Integrate with any construction software you are using on your projects. Evercam is the visual hub of all project data.
Bring multiple sources of reality capture and other project data into one space and communicate better from your phone, tablet or computer.
This depends on how often you want the images updated.
A BIM Model is not necessary to create a Drone model, but if the client wants to integrate the BIM for the compare feature, then the BIM Model should be shared.
Our measuring tool has a margin of error of (+/-)5mm. Drone works entirely detached, and no architectural drawings or BIM is needed for distances or area measuring to work.
This depends on the site and height of tallest structure on site:
If it is a building site with no cranes, it is better to use 50m to 60m.
If there is a crane at 50-60m, then go 20m above it (around 80m to 90m).
Note: All photos need to be taken at the same height.
To improve the accuracy and quality of the model, we recommend using a 65° angle.
This depends on the site’s area, if it’s: Less than 30,000 m² ⇒ 100 to 250 photos. Between 30,000 m² and 60.000 m² ⇒ 250 to 400 photos. Between 60,000 m² and 100.000 m² ⇒ 400 to 600 photos. More than 100,000 m² ⇒ +600 photos.
Note: All photos should be taken in one mapping (multiple mappings gives bad results).
We usually recommend an evenly spread out flight path to get details in an equal pattern (like the image below).
A single flight at a fixed height is highly recommended. Different heights will cause processing issues and the flight might have to be redone.
It is okay to have a higher density of images around important structures on site, as long as the height is close to the altitude of the remaining bits of the flight.
The creative and innovative ways that Evercam use to obtain imagery is brilliant – it really helps us to capture the essence of our projects.Glenn Forbes Project Construction Director, K2 Construction Management
Evercam has become an essential part of the construction process making is so easy to view progress on site from anywhere in the world—including Nigeria and Dublin!…Their ability to provide us with time lapse videos, snapshots, past video footage in time for monthly meeting and all done in such a friendly way.
The real power of Evercam is their ability to integrate the BIM model…This allows our clients to get a feel for what the finished project would look like and gave us the ability to track progress against the final product.
